An Award for the Mars Rover Team

NASA’s Mars Rover team will receive the 2010 International Space Ops Award for Outstanding Achievement. They landed the twin rovers on Mars in January 2004 for a mission that was planned to last for three months. The team has operated the rovers for more than six years and made many major science discoveries.
