International engineering company specialising in Oil and Gas projects is looking for a Vessel Manager. The role will entail- Managing existing day- to- day operations of the company’s fleet of diving DP Class 2 and 4- point mooring vessels.- Establish ISM on all company vessels.- Oversee all technical management and operation of vessels. – Setting yearly operating budgets for the fleet.- Conduct regular quality audits.- Develop and recruit an onshore vessel management team.- Offshore staff recruitment and performance evaluations.- Ensure all key documentation is maintained.The ideal candidate will be a Master Mariner (unlimited tonnage) with several years supervisory experience gained in service on board a foreign of US flag vessel or the same experience ashore overseeing vessel operations and maintenance. In addition knowledge of class and flag state requirements will be essential (ABS, LRS, DNV, BV) as is a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Transportation
