Quantity Surveyor at Gulf Fluor LLC
Reporting to the HOD Project Control Engineer, the responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor are: 1) Managing Bill of quantity, Cost on a wide variety of the project such as Petrochemical, Chemical, Oil and Gas projects; 2) Interfacing with the Project Manager, Project control Manager, Planning Engineer, Contracts & Commercial Manager and Construction Manager for accurate and current cost reporting; 3) Developing and implementing of cost control programs and procedures and preparation on narrative and cost control reports; 4) Coordinating closely with finance /accounts to assure efficient cash flow for the project; 5) Assisting in the analysis and negotiation of contractor’s and consultant’s prices, change orders and claims; 6) Preparing and evaluation of tender & Contract documents including bill of quantity; 7) Reviewing contractor’s payment application during EPC stage; 
Preparing response to tender query and coordinating with respect discipline; 9) Preparing bill of quantity and analyzing costing for tenders; 10) Preparing reply on contractual claims; 11) Maintaining awareness of the different contract contracts in current use; 12) Tracking quantity of the project in respected discipline of the project through terms of the contract; 13) Carrying out all re-measurements works necessary to ensure completion of all constructions works in accordance to original bill of quantities for projects; Jobs in UAE | Jobs in Abu Dhabi | Jobs in Dubai
