Building Bridges to Survive Earthquakes

Flooded Town Reappears

In 1985 the town of Potosi, Venezuela was flooded to make way for the Uribante Reservoir hydroelectric project. Now the area is suffering from a severe drought and the town has reappeared as reservoir levels drop.

San Francisco Bay Water Tunnel
