The Regional Sales Manager will be charged with managing all marine product sales activities and sales personnel within the UAE and across the region where the FAMCO has Marine business either through wholly owned in-country distribution or dealer channels.The key accountabilities of this role are: – Contributing to the achievement of revenue, unit sales and customer engagement through effective sales process management, increasing customer retention and efficient distribution strategy- Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the marine sales department, while maintaining focus on the Division’s strategic goals through development and implementation of an effective strategic sales plan- Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plans to approach and secure new business for the Division within the marine pleasure and commercial sector- Develops and maintain a strong work relationship with key opinion leaders and industry experts within the marine sector and advises changing trends and business drivers so the Division can make and adjust plans accordingly- Attract, retain, train, and motivate a diverse sales force and effectively execute and manage every element of the sales process on an individual level, building a high performing sales team- Able to work and operate successfully within a operational management matrix structure while maintaining Franchise and FAMCO distributor standards, utilising existing account management processes and reporting systems- Collaborate closely with the OEM partners and product marketing managers on developing new products and services for our clients and end usersThis is a strategically important sales role with two key elements (1) providing the required sales management leadership required to drive revenues from the marine pleasure and commercial sector to new levels and use past experience to refine sales processes and to build an appropriate high performance team (2) Actively seeks out and targets new customers, boat builders and new sales opportunities across the region where we operate.
