Main Purpose of role:- To support the Supply Chain Department in procurement and to ensure availability of Aluminium Coils, Can End, and manufacturing consumable and spares at agreed costs, within agreed quality standards to meet the demand and requirements of the business. Key Responsibilities: 1) Plan delivery of the materials in line with the production plan & forecasts providing detailed schedule of ETA and follow up on deliveries keeping a KPI for each supplier for both local and international supplies 2) Keep track of documentation and clearance of imported material with close co-ordination with clearing agent. 3) Closely liaise with the Finance for arrangement of funds for documents routed through bank and for opening of L/C. 4) Assist in the negotiations with the suppliers for packaging and ingredients without compromising on quality and delivery pattern 5) Review the stock levels and place timely orders as per the forecast or demand ensuring lead time, minimum & economic order quantities and inventory are considered to ensure timely delivery of the material. 6) Keep accurate records of claims to ensure they are settled swiftly and prices are matching with the agreed/contracted rates for each deliveries.
