KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieve C&T Middle East area strategies and targets through managing all C&T organizational, personnel, financial, consulting and training activities in the region (currently approximately 30 people located in local offices in Egypt and Saudi Arabia) – Meet or exceed revenue and profit goals through ensuring high quality consulting and training services are delivered to all clients – Develop and successfully implement effective business and marketing plans that expand relationships with current clients and secure new clients – Ensure Intertek and Intertek C&T strategic and business goals are clearly communicated, understood and implemented throughout the region – Ensure the Middle East C&T team: – Has the capacity to profitably meet current and future client demands – Is recruited, trained, and led to deliver C&T product and services that meet C&T standards and exceed client requirements – Utilize Intertek financial systems; for example, budgeting, pricing, scheduling, invoicing, forecasting and reporting – Continuously improve area results through evaluating the success of key client projects and implementing lessons learned – Work in conjunction with the Intertek C&T Business Unit team to identify future market needs and implement required products and services – Model Intertek C&T values personally and lead in a manner to ingrain those values throughout the area REPORTS TO: Intertek Middle East Regional Director REQUIREMENTS OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: The individual we are seeking for this position is a self-directed business leader who is local to the Middle East region (this is not an expatriate position) and has a minimum of ten years recent and relevant experience in the oil and gas industry including: – Developing and leading area resources to achieve strategic business goals – Utilizing listening, creative thinking, negotiation, and planning skills to identify and develop solutions for client business needs – Developing, pricing and communicating high level client proposals, concepts, and reports in a timely manner LOCATION: This position is located in Abu Dhabi or Saudi/Bahrain. Relocation assistance is available, if required. Successful accomplishment of the position will require 25 to 40 percent travel, primarily throughout the Middle East.
