Project Controls Manager Job
Plans and executes the Project Controls requirements for a project including, but not limited to: •Responsible for providing technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists •Analyzes variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicates the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management •Supervises the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contract •Leads the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly Progress Reports •Develops and maintains the progress measurement system for the project •Leads the proposal efforts for cost/scheduling activities •Interprets contract conditions to ensure compliance •Develops and delivers training programs in Project Controls systems and methods •Maintains familiarity with the functionality of automated cost management systems •Provides meaningful, accurate historical data •Other duties as assigned The job position allows ample independence with the ability for flexibility and creativity in finding and solving problems. A strong work ethic is necessary to focus on initiative-driven deliverables while maintaining both program priorities as well as management priorities. The Project Controls Manager will report to the Project Director.
